On your first visit to our office you will be welcomed and greeted with a warm smile. As a
member of our family, you will then be asked to fill out our required forms which helps us gain
some information about yourself and your condition.
If this is your first visit to a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr DiNatale will explain all about
Chiropractic. After a thorough consultation with the doctor, you will have a complete
chiropractic examination. This will include; postural analysis, your ability to turn and bend,
checking your spine for subluxations, (spinal fixations) as well as other standard orthopedic and
neurologic tests. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that she
will have a better understanding of how chiropractic can help you. X-ray is sometimes required
to get a full evaluation of a patient. The need for X-ray is considered on a case by case basis.
We do not take X-rays at our office, you will be referred to Hawaii Radiological Associates, LTD.
Imaging Center, on the corner of Kuakini Hwy and Sunset Drive, in Kailua-Kona.
Most of our patients begin to see results from the very first adjustment. Dr. Lisa combines
Chiropractic adjustments with therapy modalities, (ie: ultrasound, electrical muscle stimulation,
traction), rehabilitative exercises, and massage. Our special massage chair is awesome! It helps
to loosen you up before your adjustment. Dr. Lisa utilizes a state of the art adjusting table.
She incorporates Hawaiian Lomilomi massage and "Trigger point" with a flexion/ distraction
type of traction, which has been used for many low back conditions from arthritis/ degenerative
disc disease to disc herniations. It imbibes (pumps) nutrition/ fluids from the bone to the disc,
which, all in all, is a great anti-aging technique. Once you gain an understanding of the
benefits of Chiropractic, you will see the need to return for "tune ups". Dr Lisa's adjustments
are gentle enough for kids (they love us!), pregnant women, or elderly, yet able to restore
function and movement for the athlete or larger person. You are never too young or old to be
adjusted!
Our office can bill many insurance programs. We participate with ChiroPlan Hawaii, providing
care for County & State Employees, Masons and Electricians Unions, UHA, HMA, HMAA, select
HMSA, Auto Accidents & Workman's Compensation. Also Expecting Moms & Well Baby Care.
Chiropractic care can benefit you. If your condition requires a special test or a referral to
another specialist Dr. DiNatale will refer you. Nothing will be done in our office without your
consent.
